Molly Hicks- Director of Fun

Molly is Currahee Club’s Director of Fun, which sounds like a dream job, but in fact is hard work.  Molly is responsible for planning activities for Currahee Club residents, members and their families.  Though Lake Hartwell and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains surely offer opportunities for thrill-seekers, Molly uncovers activities for members’ families and those who seek low-key recreation. 

She can arrange a leisurely nature walk, pointing out animals that comprise the various ecosystems around Currahee Club, a visit to a day spa, a family dinner at the Community Grill or a movie on Currahee Club’s large outdoor screen.

Prior to her current job, Molly worked with children of all ages in a variety of environments, but her favorite experience was her time as an instructor with Computer Tots.  There, she worked with toddlers to familiarize them with the capabilities of computers, and with pre-teens to enhance their technological skills through complex computer games, robotics and more.  Her experience with children is a welcome addition to the family-focused atmosphere at Currahee Club.

No matter what the fun idea, Molly ensures families fully enjoy their escape to the mountains of Northeast Georgia.
